MY NEW BOOK WILL SOON BE OUT

In one of my graduation gowns

Very warm greetings to you from Hamburg. Surely it has been an awfully long time (precisely since 30th August) since you last heard from me. By His grace we are all fine and doing well.

For the past two weeks I have been concentrating my attention on the completion of my next book. By His grace I am done with the writing and getting it ready for printing. We trust that, God willing, it should be ready by the end of October this year. Please pray with us in this regard as well.

Apostle Sampson Ofori Yiadom
You may not be able to add more years to your life but you can add more life to your years. The book 'Achieving Your Dreams' serves that purpose"
     APOSTLE SAMPSON OFORI YIADOM
       (COP National Head, Germany)
Thank you for your continuous prayers on my behalf. Though it may seem to be delaying, I tell you, it is nowhere near the 38 years that a certain man spent by the poolside in Bethesda or even the 12 years of secret agony that an unnamed woman spent in bleeding.
Let the voice of Habakkuk resound in our ears, "...Though it tarries, it shall surely come to pass"

AUGUST VISITORS FROM FOUR COUNTRIES

Apostle Ebenezer Appiah, preaching in Hamburg Central
The LORD has continued to bless us with the visits of many ministry colleagues. The latest to visit were Apostle Ebenezer Appiah of Ivory Coast, Pastor Patrick Nketiah Yeboah, Elder Amos Kevin Annan, the Deputy Youth Director and Pastor Agyemang of U. K.
Apostle Appiah and his wife Mrs Janet with me

Apostle Ebenezer Appiah, Area Head of Yopougon Area in Abidjan, Ivory Coast and his wife Janet, visited from 26th-30th July, 2012. It was pure joy when we met. We relived ministry experiences together in Ivory Coast when I served as COP National Head between 1991 and 1996. The apostle also served as our missionary to Niger between 2001 and 2006.

Next to visit was Pastor Patrick Nketiah Yeboah from 7th to 14th August. Our pastor's testimony moved most of the members of Hamburg Central Assembly to tears. He told of how during his first visit to one of his local assemblies in Twabidi District in the Goaso Area of Ghana, a mini-bus smashed the motor bike on which he was riding from behind, completely severing his left leg. He was later amputated at the thigh. The church sponsored him to India and later to Italy for a prosthetic leg. He had come for a review in Italy and decided to take the opportunity to come over to visit his brother here in Germany.

He is currently stationed at Bekwai, Ashanti Region of Ghana. as District Pastor.

Taking it easy at home
"Apostle Ntumy, you took the decision as Chairman of COP to send me abroad for a prosthetic leg and today I am on my feet preaching. May God do for you what you did for me through His grace---lift you up to your feet" Pastor Nketiah addressed me as he was preaching the sermon in Hamburg Central
With Eld Amos Kevin Annan and his wife Rita
We were also blessed with the visit of Elder Amos Kevin Annan, Deputy Youth Director of COP and his wife, Evelyn. Eld. Annan was invited as Guest Speaker at the National Youth Conference of Germany held from 19th-22nd July in Willinghem. The conference was attended by Youth members from Switzerland, Belgium, Holland and Ireland.

The next  to visit was Elder George Arthur, National Deacon of our church in Norway, from 10th to 13th August 2012. He visited with his youngest son, Joseph Assabil, Jnr.

Elder Arthur is one of the pioneers of the church in Norway in the early 1990s and has served for many years as Coordinator of the church until Resident Missionaries were sent in.

The latest to visit were Pastor Emmanuel Agyemang of Telford District in U. K and his wife, Rita on 24th August 2012. They came with their children Raimond, Theodora, Martin and Jeremy. They were on holidays in Berlin but they concluded that they could not possibly return to the U. K without visiting us in Hamburg.

MY BLOG IS ONE YEAR OLD

Warm greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

To the glory of God, I am glad to announce that my blog is one year old this week. In the course of the year, I published thirty-six times on the blog, providing information about my health and progress, some of the therapies I undertake as well as some of our church and social activities--- with photos.

The blog has been visited over 32,000 times by very dear and concerned people like you. This means a lot to us. Thank you very much for your patronage. I invite you to keep abreast with my progress by patronizing the blog and forwarding the link to your friends. By so doing you will be helping to widen the circle of prayer warriors on my behalf.

Above all, thank you for your fervent prayers through which the LORD has sustained and brought me this far. True, I am not where all of us want me to be yet, but I am definitely not where I was three years ago. I am confident that the LORD, who has brought me this far, will perfect that which He has started and bring me total recovery.

Therefore, please do not relent in your prayers for me. As we pray together, very soon, we shall celebrate together when the miracle takes place.

Thank you very much and may the Good LORD continue to bless you all.
